Bitumen mixtures, asphalt concretes processing
-
Granular additive ELASTIC A / ELASTIC B
Granular additive based on a chemical conditioner and SBS polymer.
Application fields: improving the features of the bituminous concretes.
Characteristics and advantages:
- Increase of the concrete fluidity and workability.
- Reduction in viscosity to average temperatures.
- Less heat dispersion and longer preserving of concrete temperature.
- Improvement of mechanical resistance to deformation and compression.
- Lowering of the working temperatures of approximately 200C than average values.
- Significant reduction of toxic emissions and energy savings.
-
Liquid additive CLW / CLW HP
Liquid antioxidant additive with a polymer base.
Application fields: traditional and draining bituminous concretes, bituminous mixtures.
Characteristics and advantages:
- Increased antioxidant properties.
- Improvement of the functional service up to 50% after aging.
- Excellent adhesiveness activator;
- Viscosity reduction to average temperatures.
- Improvement of the thermal property, as a consequence a longer period during the placing phase.
- Significant reduction of the air voids in the concrete, allowing for a reduction of about 6%-10% from the bitumen quantity.
- More fluidity during the application, and as a consequence an improvement of compactness.
- Lowering of the inert materials temperature during the mixing phase of approximately 20%.
- Due to the lowering plant's operating temperature, a significant reduction of toxic emissions is possible.
- Faster heat dispersion time for the bituminous layer in its cooling phase, from 800C to 250C.
